About our Founder/President

Before creating InterSchola, Melissa Rich was most recently Director of Business Development and senior financial manager at Classroom Connect. Melissa joined Classroom Connect from Intel Capital, Intel’s strategic venture capital investment arm. While at Intel, Melissa’s area of investment focus was concentrated on rich media technologies, ecommerce and content areas including K-12 education. Following the successful investment of funds by Intel in Classroom Connect, Melissa joined the Classroom Connect management team. Additional professional experience includes finance, strategy and business development roles at Chemical Bank (now Chase/JP Morgan), Sony Corporation of America and Excite, Inc.

Melissa is a graduate of Dartmouth College (BA) and The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business (MBA).

As President of InterSchola, Melissa focuses her efforts on strategy, fundraising, organizational development, sales and business development.
